When it came time to consider what rocker we would purchase for our baby, we decided to put a little research into some of the current offering the market has available. We were on a flexible budget so most models were in the running. Straight off we eliminated models that are made from the cheap flimsy plastic, (especially where the seat recline adjustment mechanism was concerned). Several higher-end models had a vibration feature which is great but were let down by being made of cheap thin plastic that look like it would break in no time.
CHILDCARE Deluxe Rocker:
We decided upon the CHILDCARE Deluxe Rocker as my partner really liked it and I approved of the reclining mechanism which is made from a heavier grade of plastic.
We purchased it through Babies Galore for $89.95 which is on the mid-low end of the price scale for baby rockers. We could have purchased it cheaper from online retailers, but the biggest pitfall with online retailers is returning your product to them for warranty purposes if the supplier doesn't offer an on-site pick-up warranty.

Contents:
Shipped and packaged in a rather large plastic bag with a big carry handle.
Not much other than the unit, some cardboard to protect the main seat and to keep the 5-point safety harness in place. A rather large piece of cardboard showing of some of its features, an instruction and warranty booklet.
