CHILDCARE Deluxe Rocker (Mokha)

Product code: 031810
Assembly & Usage:
Once removed from the plastic covering, I proceeded to read the instructions on how to use the rocker.
One has to literally bring the rocking legs over and around the rocker, and lock it in to place.
Here is where the unit becomes next to useless. Where the rocker leg lock into place on the main supporting frame is the problem. The designers have absolutely chosen the wrong way of achieving a way to lock the rocker legs in place.
You can see that the rocker legs are meant to clip or lock into place by using a plastic coupling to join and connect the the rocker legs to the main frame.
On one side it does an average job of achieving this, however on the other side it does not.
Either the L-shaped frame is not bend to 90 degrees enough or the plastic coupling has been pop-riveted in the correct position. The result is that the rocker leg frame is hard up against one edge or side of the plastic coupling.
This makes the whole thing very loose and practically useless. One only has to pick the rocker up by the carry handles and the rocker legs came away from the plastic coupling, terrible design.
The mechanism for adjusting the recline of the rocker was sound and made from heavy-graded plastic. I like this and was one of the main reasons on purchasing it. It is a simple unscrew, adjust and re-screw/tighten mechanism that works well.
Another great design and feature was how the designers made the rocker become fixed. They incorporated some small adjustable plastic legs which can be swiveled into either a fixed or rocking position.
